BH Marine LLP is a family run business founded by Ben Harris offering Training and Yacht Management services in Weymouth & Portland.
Originally from Cheshire, Ben moved to Southampton in 1994 to study Business. He has a broad range of experience in both Marketing and as a full time instructor, working closely with high value businesses and consumers alike. Ben has successfully built his own businesses, which has proved to be strong in the current climate.

The Spare Time Stuff
Ben’s passion and drive for business is evident in his personal life too. A highly competitive triathlete, Ben has participated in the London Triathlon (the worlds largest) and what is regarded the hardest Half-Ironman on Exmoor in 2008. He is now training to compete in a full Ironman, and naturally has chosen the worlds toughest, which takes place in Lanzarote. Aside from these massive tests of endurance, Ben is a Chartered Marketer and mentors local and national SME’s through the minefield of marketing, he also is a voluntary Ambulance First Responder in his local community near Dorchester.
“Training for endurance events is great for focusing the mind, it allows me the opportunity to think clearly. The majority of my problem solving takes place whilst I am training. I find it far easier to work through things when I am on the move. Exercise is a fantastic motivator, it’s a great way to remain positive and pass on that energy to others” says Ben.

MCA Master for Sail and Power up to 200gt with over 35,000 nautical miles under his belt, RYA Instructor, MCA Ships Captain’s Medic and educated with an Honours degree in Business Administration and Marketing.
