The RYA Yachtmaster Offshore Fast Track Programme (Sail) is BH Marine Academy's most comprehensive sailing programme, designed for individuals who wish to progress rapidly towards the prestigious RYA/MCA Yachtmaster Offshore Certificate of Competence.

Whether you already hold some sailing qualifications or have accumulated sea miles independently, this intensive programme combines practical training, real-world sailing experience and professional mentoring to develop the knowledge, judgement and seamanship expected of a Yachtmaster.

Unlike many fast-track courses, our programme is not simply about passing an examination. We focus on producing competent, confident skippers capable of safely commanding a sailing yacht in coastal and offshore waters.

Every programme is tailored to your existing qualifications, sea time and future ambitions. Before joining, we will review your sailing logbook and prepare a personalised training plan to ensure you gain the maximum benefit from the programme.

Typical Programme Duration
Approximately 16 days of intensive practical training, together with the qualifying sea time and mileage required by the RYA.
Programmes are individually adapted to reflect previous experience and may be completed over consecutive weeks or split into separate training blocks.
