COURSE OVERVIEW
The RYA Yachtmaster Offshore Fast Track Programme (Sail) is BH Marine Academy's most comprehensive sailing programme, designed for individuals who wish to progress rapidly towards the prestigious RYA/MCA Yachtmaster Offshore Certificate of Competence.
Whether you already hold some sailing qualifications or have accumulated sea miles independently, this intensive programme combines practical training, real-world sailing experience and professional mentoring to develop the knowledge, judgement and seamanship expected of a Yachtmaster.
Unlike many fast-track courses, our programme is not simply about passing an examination. We focus on producing competent, confident skippers capable of safely commanding a sailing yacht in coastal and offshore waters.

Content
A structured progression through the relevant RYA sailing theory and practical qualifications, supported mileage building, skippering experience, safety qualifications, radio training and Yachtmaster preparation.
Certificate issuing criteria
Individual RYA certificates are awarded as each module is successfully completed. The programme prepares eligible candidates for the independent RYA/MCA Yachtmaster examination.

A practical liveaboard programme combining:
Intensive sailing instruction
Coastal and offshore passages
Night sailing
One-to-one coaching
Yacht deliveries (where appropriate)
Passage planning
Navigation exercises
Mock Yachtmaster examinations
